WHO WE ARE:
A group of 10 friends (average age 52) that have come together to challenge ourselves, make incredible memories, and raise money for the Bikes For Kids Foundation. We all recognize the significant role our first bike played in our childhood. We hope to give 3,000 more kids this same opportunity.
HOW IT WORKS:
Every donation of $135 provides a bike and helmet to a Third Grader in a Title 1 School. The kids earn their bikes by completing a custom curriculum built around leadership and kindness at school. 100% of all money donated goes directly to the kids which is why we LOVE this foundation.

Help Us Provide Bikes for Kids!
Bikes for Kids Foundation’s goal is to impact all Title 1 schools in the United States. Every dollar contributed goes toward sponsoring a 3rd grade class in a Title 1 school with three character-building books for each child in the third and forth grade, a yearly classroom poster, as well as a bike and helmet to be given to each child during an awards ceremony.
Bikes for Kids Foundation has no salaries and no outside expenses or administration costs within the organization. All operational functions are voluntary. We hope you will join us financially, or participate in our bike-building weeks. However you choose to participate, we can promise what Bikes for Kids Foundation does will touch your heart and soul. With your help, we are changing children’s lives and the future of our our communities.

Why a bike? As one famous athlete says, Bikes for Kids Foundation rewards every 3rd grade student with a bike because “a bicycle represents freedom. There was a sense of joy; comfort [and community] in having a bike. There was nothing that really could stop us. We felt like we were on top of the world.” But a bike for a child who has never had one and whose family can’t afford one is more than a reward; it’s a cause for hope; a moment of confidence; an encounter with role models that will impact them for years. It affirms in their hearts that hard work and dreams really do come true, and they control making it happen.
